Glass charm

i dropped my necklace and the glass charm broke into 2 pieces. what kind of glue should i use to repair it? i love this necklace, and they dont make these anymore so i don't want to throw it out.

If I were doing it, I'd use a UV-cure glue such as is used to adhere rear-view mirrors to windshields. It may be something you can find in an auto-parts store, or stop by a custom glass shop and see if they have any. We use it in our shop, and it's wonderful stuff.

Yes, the water would go bad. I have seen people fill them with either oil or glycerine. In the link is one example of a similar item I found online.

For an art protect I have to create a two inch charm... I could use clay but I think stained glass would be cool... Is there any way to make something that looks like stained glass or has a similar effect? If so how?

Oh yes, there are many ways to make a stained glass look charm.
